First Day of lessons: August 21, 2017
Last Day of lessons: May 26, 2018
Consistent attendance is expected and essential for a student's successful progress.
Make-up classes are allowed and must be made up within one month of the missed class, based on availability. They are not guaranteed. You must be a current registered student, paying tuition to attend make-up classes.
Please do not drop your student off more than 10 minutes before their lesson. That time should be spent preparing for their lesson. (Older students may come earlier only for the purpose of warming up.)
Students must be picked up no later than 10 minutes after their lesson ends. We are not a day care facility and therefore are not equipped to watch your child ouside of their lesson.
No children should be left unattended.
The Academy closes when Conroe Independent School District closes due to extreme weather! If weather conditions worsen after 3:00 PM, contact the Academy office to confirm whether or not classes will be held.

We continue to have an open door policy. All questions and comments are encouraged. Keep in mind that most of our classes are back-to-back. Therefore our staff does not have adequate time in-between classes for discussions.
Please — if there is an issue or question that you need answered, let the front office know or leave a voice message so an appropriate time to meet can be set up.
We know there are issues throughout the year that come up and we want to be able to address them properly and give you the time you deserve to discuss them.
Registering for lessons at PAPA is a commitment from August to May. We are not a month to month recreation. Therefore tuition is based on that. However, for convenience tuition is divided into ten monthly installments. Please don't confuse the payment schedule with a month to month agreement. You are registering for a 38 week program and will be charged tuition regardless of attendance. Tuition installments are due August through May, regardless of the number of classes in a month.
Students in the Children's Program may withdraw from the program by giving 60 days notice. Tuition will be charged 60 days after notice of withdrawal is given to the office in writing.
Tuition installments will be automatically debited from the account you've provided on the payment authorization form. These charges will be processed between the 1st and 4th day of September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, and May.

All dancers are responsible for wearing the correct dress code for their class level. If the dancer does not have the correct attire, the student may be asked to watch the class. All students in Ballet classes must have their hair up in a bun (see Instructions for the Perfect Bun). Bangs and long ends need to be pulled neatly back and secured with pins or barrettes and a mist of hairspray to keep loose ends out of the face and off the neck. Children with short hair (above the neck) need to secure the hair off the face and neck (bun is not necessary for very short hair).
For the student's own safety there will be no jewelry worn in class, including watches, necklaces, dangling earrings, silly bands, and other types of friendship bracelets.
If you wear glasses please use an eyeglass retainer strap in black with no “tail” please.
